Here is my healthy snacks recipe for gluten free crackers made from seeds.
This recipe is based on chia seeds, sunflower seeds, and sesame seeds, almond meal and garlic powder with herbs for taste.
Soak the Chia seeds them mix all of your ingredients together and add any kind of your favorite herbs to your taste like thyme, basil, maybe a pinch of salt.
Spread your mix out in a tray on grease proof paper and bake.
This healthy snack recipe just happens to be almost a paleo recipe (except for the salt) given that it is based on seeds rather than typical commercial crackers which are based on common cereal grains that are loaded with gluten and sugar. (A strict paleo diet excludes modern day processed foods such as dairy products, grains, sugar, legumes, processed oils, salt, alcohol or coffee. On the assumption that humans didn’t evolve eating such foods and commenced eating them only in recent history). My focus as a cancer survivor is more about the foods you cant eat given your personal circumstances & allergies and the foods that you should eat to boost your immune system.
